I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till, ringing, singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime,
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The Carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
‘There is no peace on earth,’ I said;
‘For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!’
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
‘God is not dead; nor doth he sleep!
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men!

I can't believe, another Christmas without you. How I miss the days past
when I used to go Christmas shopping making sure I got what I thought
you wanted and making sure you didn't know where I hid them. Remember
when we went to the mall and when we left I couldn't find the car
and I got so upset, not because of the car but because I had two Barbie
dolls in the trunk that were hard to find and when I finally found them
I hid them in the trunk. Remember the security guard took us around
the parking lot, you thought he was cute, and Mandi and you giggled
the whole time, until I finally spotted the car.
I thought I'd never see those Barbies again.
And I had to call daddy all the way across town to come and get us..
Oh mygoodness, how I wish I had those days back, times when
laughter and smiles on your face filled the house, now so empty and
quiet without you. You were the best thing that ever happened to me...
I miss you so much, my beautiful daughter, my best friend.

We'll love you forever, Mommy and Daddy
